After 20+ years as a barista and cafe manager, and the birth of my daughter, it was time to begin a new project and spend more quality time at home and begin my own business.
My First Piece
My soon to be brother-in-law brought us a custom engraved chopping board for our wedding. Soon after we were going to attend a wedding of a fellow carpenter and were struggling to think of a unique present. I had a brief look at our board and thought 'I can do that!'
Finally on the map
I started hand carving children's height rulers. I briefly advertised the rulers locally and suddenly had 10 custom orders!
Many Gifts Later...
After the success of the personalised board, I begun creating custom gifts for friends, family, birthdays, anniversaries and new baby's.
Business is Booming
Since then, I have discovered the amazing medium of resin and now create a range of items from personalised signs, chopping boards, charcuterie boards, river tables and coffee tables.
